Highway 16 reopened following crash

Highway 16 has been fully reopened west of the city, according to DriveBC , following a single-vehicle crash near Beaverley Road West. Emergency crews were called to the scene at about 3 p.m.

Highway 16 has been fully reopened west of the city, according to DriveBC, following a single-vehicle crash near Beaverley Road West.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at about 3 p.m. and the stretch between Beaverley Road West and Hooper Road was closed completely.

It was reopened to single-lane alternating shortly before 4:30 p.m. At the time, DriveBC said estimated time of complete reopening was 8:30 p.m. but in a posting shortly before 5 p.m., said it's been completely reopened.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash are asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
