The Prince George Crime Stoppers Society will be hosting a document shredding event this Saturday.
It will be held at the CN Centre parking lot, just off Ospika Avenue, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"This is a chance for members of the public to shred personal or important documents, helping to ensure they will not be a victim of identity theft," organizers said.
Shred-it Mobile Shredding Services will be on hand to dispose of documents. The service will be provided for a minimum $ 5 donation and is not meant for business owners.
All proceeds will go towards supporting the Prince George Crime Stopper Society.
