From Prince George provincial court, January 6-10, 2020:

- Jeremy Bo Daniel Purych (born 1980) was sentenced to 45 days in jail for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, to 30 days in jail for breaching probation and two counts of breaching an undertaking or recognizance, to 12 days in jail for theft $5,000 or under and to no further days in jail for possessing a controlled substance. Purych was also sentenced to one year probation and was in custody for 46 days prior to sentencing.

- Darren Paul Culver (born 1984) was sentenced to 42 days in jail for possessing a firearm contrary to an order and to no further time for possessing a firearm without a licence or registration, willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, breaching probation and breaching an undertaking or recognizance and two counts of using a forged document. Culver was also sentenced to 18 months probation and issued a lifetime firearms prohibition on the firearms counts. Culver spent a total of 221 days in custody on the counts prior to sentencing.

- William John Pilon (born 1952) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

- Nathan Carl Alexander (born 1992) was sentenced to 18 months probation, issued a 10-year firearms prohibition for assault causing bodily harm and ordered to provide a DNA sample. Alexander spent a total of 247 days in custody prior to sentencing.

- Jason Robert Minty (born 1976) was sentenced to 30 days in jail for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, to 25 days for assault, to 15 days for assaulting a peace officer and to one year probation on the counts, and prohibited from driving for one year and fined $1,000 plus a $300 victim surcharge for driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08, all committed in Mackenzie. Minty was in custody for two days prior to sentencing.

- Leonard John Joseph Jr. (born 1981) was sentenced to one year probation for assault, mischief $5,000 or under and breaching probation. Joseph Jr. was in custody for 25 days prior to sentencing.

- Anthony Engler (born 1976) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $2,000 for driving while impaired.

- Alexis Mary Beth Plasway (born 1985) was sentenced to no further time for breaching a release order. Plasway was in custody for four days prior to sentencing.

- John Philip Johnston (born 1970) was sentenced to 14 days in jail, served on an intermittent basis, prohibited from driving for one year and fined $300 plus a $45 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act.

- Anthony Ronald Naziel (born 1978) was sentenced to 18 months probation with a suspended sentence and ordered to pay $3,422.57 restitution for possessing a firearm without a licence or registration and mischief $5,000 or under.

- Leo John Penney (born 1945) was prohibited from driving for one year and fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving while driver's licence is suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

- Jonathan David Friesen (born 1975) was sentenced to 40 days in jail for three counts of possessing stolen property over $5,000, committed in Valemount. Friesen was in custody for 63 days prior to sentencing.

- Elliott Ryan Joseph (born 1984) was sentenced to two years probation for theft $5,000 or under.

- Sean Patrick Edward Smith (born 1985) was sentenced to three years probation for uttering threats to burn, destroy or damage. Smith was in custody for 50 days prior to sentencing. Smith was in custody for 174 days prior to sentencing.

- Desmond Cedric McKinnon (born 1974) was fined $1,000 plus a $150 victim surcharge for driving without a driver's licence under the Motor Vehicle Act, committed in Hixon.

- Kristina Marie Anderton (born 1993) was prohibited from driving for 18 months sentenced to 18 months probation with a suspended sentence for fleeing police and willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer and prohibited from driving for one year and fined $500 plus a $75 victim surcharge for driving while prohibited or licence suspended under the Motor Vehicle Act.

- Debora Irene Bourcier (born 1961) was issued a one-year $500 recognizance after allegation of causing fear of injury or damage.

- Timothy Lorne Bryce (born 1964) was sentenced to 30 days in jail for assault and to 27 days in jail for theft $5,000 or under and to one year probation on the counts.

- Kohl Anthony Timms (born 1986) was sentenced to 60 days in jail for possessing stolen property, to 50 days for willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, to 45 days for personation with intent to gain advantage, to 30 days for breaching probation to 14 days for breaching an undertaking or recognizance, all committed in Prince George, to three days for two counts of possessing stolen property over $5,000, committed in Dome Creek, and to two years probation on the counts. Timms was in custody for 73 days prior to sentencing.
