There was a structure fire at the BioEnergy plant in the 9000 block of the Willow Cale Forest Road reported at about 8 p.m. Friday night.
Prince George Fire Rescue crews from four halls responded and the first crews saw smoke coming from one of the vessels and several blow pipes.
With help from the plant's staff, fire rescue crews cooled the vessel and blow pipes and extinguished a small amount of burning embers from the product and dust.
It appears the fire started from an overheated blower fan. There was some structural damage to some piping. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
