Police ID body of Rupert teen

RCMP revealed on Monday the identity of the body of a 16-year-old teenager found on Prince Rupert's waterfront.

The body of Emmalee Rose McLean of Prince Rupert was found partially submerged on Sunday. Police said her death is being treated as suspicious and foul play is a possibility.

An autopsy will be performed later this week.

School board officials offered grief counsellors to students at the coastal community's two high schools Monday morning.
