Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole, popular hosts of TSN's Sportsdesk, will be in Prince George for the Y Champions Hockey Weekend, a fundraiser for the local Family YMCA.
The duo will bring wit and one-liners to a Saturday night banquet at the Coast Inn of the North. More than 300 people are expected to attend.
The YMCA event starts today at the Coliseum, with Team Canada forward Sami Jo Small sharing her experiences and knowledge with youngsters at the Canadian Tire Hockey School.
Tonight, the BidiniBand will give an exclusive performance at the downtown Shooters Bar & Grill.
During the day on Saturday, the Y Champions Hockey Tournament will be on the ice at the Coliseum. Twelve teams in three divisions -- youth, adult and recreational -- will participate.
