Prince George judo athletes battled to a pair of gold medals at the Steveston tournament in Richmond last weekend.
Matthias Schenk of the Hart Judo Academy and Raphael Encinas of the North Capital Judo Club were victorious in their respective divisions.
Other medalists included Kimiko Kamstra, Koen Heitman and Brooke Corbett of the HJA, as well as Asher Young and Maxwell Young of North Capital, all of whom came home with silver.
Bronze medals went to Isaac Kamstra, Christopher Cormack and Kurtis Cormack (HJA) and Maxwell Young of North Capital. Maxwell Young competed in two different divisions.
