Fifteen members of the Prince George Judo Club competed at a tournament in Richmond last weekend. Ten of them battled to spots on the podium.
Kyra Edgson, Sydney Edgson and Tami Goto led the way with gold medals in their respective divisions. Kyra Edgson topped the field in the under-12 girls division, Sydney Edgson was unbeatable in the U14 girls category and Goto claimed the title in the under-48 kilogram class for U16 girls.
Silver medals, meanwhile, went to Peyton Yon (U12 boys), Fallon Jones (U12 girls and boys) and Zack Edwards (U16 boys, under-60kg).
Four PGJC athletes brought home bronze medals. They were Eli Dewar (U12 boys),Taylor Schaus (U18 men, under-55kg), Branden Edwards (U18 men, under-66kg) and Levi Price (U18 men, under -73kg).
