Fischer O'Brien of the Viking Construction Cougars tries to fight off Vancouver Thunderbird Holden Weisner during a Friday game at the Prince George Citizen Peewee Tier 1 Hockey Tournament.
In the game, played at Kin 1, Vancouver skated to a 5-0 victory over the host team. Dylan Fader led the way for the T-birds with two goals, while Weisner, William Yee and Riley Lai also scored. Eli Polver recorded the shutout.
Later Friday, the Cougars took on Quesnel. The four-team tournament continues today, with the Cougars playing Kelowna at 9:30 a.m. at Kin 1. The championship final is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on Sunday at Kin 2.
