Wanted man has history of assault charges in Port Coquitlam

Wilbert Jackson-Bullshields, who has a history of assault in Port Coquitlam, is currently wanted by police for related offences in Vancouver.

A 36-year-old man is wanted by B.C. police, but is known to have a history in the Tri-Cities.

Wilbert Jackson-Bullshields was found guilty of assault in Port Coquitlam on a number of occasions, including some as recent as 2014.

Now, Crime Stoppers says he's wanted once more on related offences in Vancouver and are seeking the public's help in finding him.

A release states Jackson-Bullshields is wanted on aggravated assault, drug trafficking, robbery and property crime.

The warrant for his arrest went into effect on Monday (July 18).

According to online BC court records, he was on trial for assault and assault causing bodily harm in October 2008 and 2009, as well as the same month in 2014.

In June 2012, a judge ruled Jackson-Bullshields was also guilty of breach of undertaking or recognizance amid a slew of crimes across the Lower Mainland.
