If you're making a commute outside of Prince George this weekend, be sure to check the conditions before you head out the door.
This morning (March 19), DriveBC is reporting a pair of vehicle incidents outside the northern capital.
An assessment is in progress for a vehicle incident south of the Pine Pass, which has closed Highway 97 in both directions for an 84-kilometre stretch.
The provincial service says it took place around 9:30 a.m.
No detour is available at this time and it's unclear how long the road between Powder King Mountain Resort and Hasler Road will remain closed.
This is near the area where avalanche control work was conducted yesterday afternoon (March 18).
