The University of Northern British Columbia is hosting an open house for its School of Engineering on Wed., March 30, 5-7 p.m., in the Teaching and Learning Centre on the main campus.
Prospective students will have the chance to meet current UNBC undergraduate engineering students, take part in hands-on activities in labs and classrooms, meet faculty and enjoy snacks and prize draws.
There will also be a presentation on UNBC’s undergraduate environmental and civil engineering programs as well as a panel discussion where current students will share their experiences.
There will also be a separate tour and information session for parents. Information will include details about the engineering programs, an overview of student supports at UNBC and information on how families can support students studying engineering.
