The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed two more lives in Northern Health, public health officials said Thursday.
The number raised the toll to 325 for the region and were among six more deaths across the province, raising that toll to 2,981.
Hospitalizations in Northern Health stood at 22, with 10 of those patients in intensive care. For B.C., 255 are in hospital, down by three, with 52 in intensive care, up three.
Thirty-one new cases were reported for Northern Health and 271 province-wide.
After adjusting for age, cases hospitalized per 100,000 population added up to 45.3 for a two-week period ending March 22. Of that, 25.2 were not vaccinated, 13.9 were partially vaccinated and 6.2 were fully vaccinated.
