The discovery of a handful of high-powered stun guns and a cache of illegal drugs in a Prince George home in mid-2011 has led to 14 months house arrest and 18 months probation for a man arrested in connection with the incident.

Marshall Randolph Schulze, 24, was also issued a 10-year firearms prohibition Thursday in Prince George provincial court after police seized the items from a Rochester Crescent home on May 17, 2011.

Along with marijuana, hashish, cocaine, various drug trafficking paraphernalia, five PHX 800 were also seized, police said at the time. The brand is known as an ultra high voltage stun gun that delivers as much as 9.8 million volts of electricity, according to some claims, compared to 50,000 volts the Tasers used by the RCMP deliver.

Stun guns are prohibited in Canada but can be purchased in the United States.
