There's a call out for volunteers to help put up 160 flags at the Prince George Civic Centre at 8 a.m. on Remembrance Day.

Each flag is in honour of a fallen soldier from the conflict in Afghanistan - including local soldiers Matthew McCully and Darren Fitzpatrick - as well as former resident and veteran Greg Matters and journalist Michelle Lang, who was killed while covering the Afghan conflict.

The flags will line the street from the former Canadian Legion branch 43 to the Civic Plaza.
