A new crosswalk across Tyner Boulevard at Baker and Gannett roads has been completed.
The crosswalk features a “rectangular rapid flashing beacon” that pedestrians can activate before stepping out. Standard crosswalk pavement markings and signage are also in place.
The work, part of a larger strategy to upgrade or install 43 crossings, was initially not expected to be complete until July, the City said Monday.
