On May 3rd, 2022 at approximately 5:55am, the Dawson Creek RCMP were called to an apartment building located near the area of 8th street and Watson Crescent for a report of a male in medical distress. The male was transported to the hospital however unfortunately did not survive.
Subsequently, the Dawson Creek RCMP have engaged into a suspicious death investigation.
Police note the incident appears to be isolated and do not have a reason to believe there is a concern for public safety.
"They've been here since I was up this morning," said second storey resident Kara P. to the Mirror Wednesday morning.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen suspicious activity near the location on May 3 between 1:00am to 6:00am, or anyone that may have video cameras in the area and have not yet been in contact with the police.
