One person suffered life-threatening injuries in Sunday's motor vehicle incident east of Vanderhoof, RCMP have confirmed.
Two other people in the two-vehicle collision on Highway 16 about 10 kilometres east of the community suffered minor injuries.
Causal factors remained under investigation but roads were icy and slippery, North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said Monday.
The collision occurred just before 10 a.m. The scene was closed to traffic for several hours to allow RCMP to gather evidence and to remove the vehicles.
