The Prince George Cougars' first home game of their 2021-22 Western Hockey League regular season is set for Sat., Oct. 2.
They will be hosting the defending B.C. Division champion Kamloops Blazers that evening, the team said Wednesday.
“We can’t wait to see our fans back at the CN Centre and begin a season like no other,” said Cougars’ Vice President, Business Andy Beesley. “We want to be leaders in helping our community come together in the post-pandemic world and we think our home opener will be a great event to rally around.”
The Cougars entire 2021-22 regular season schedule will be released on Wed., June 23.
