For the fans We Will Rock You, a Queen-inspired rock musical, will be presented at CN Centre on January 14, 2020.
Annerin Theatricals from Alberta will offer this theatrical event during a North American tour starting this fall.
The show has been presented since 2002 to more than 16 million fans in 19 countries. The production is based on Queen songs and the book by Ben Elton. Songs featured during the performance are We Are the Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want to Break Free, Somebody to Love, Killer Queen, Don't Stop Me Now and of course We Will Rock You.
We Will Rock You, the musical, finds Galileo and Scaramouche on a quest to save rock n' roll in a postapocalyptic world where there are no musical instruments and no rock n' roll. The duo joins a small group of outcasts, the Bohemians, as they fight to take back the iPlanet from an all-powerful entity. The ultimate fight is for freedom and the revival of rock 'n roll.
