EGGcellent cruise

There's another free family-friendly day of fun offered Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. by the same people who provided the Candy Cruise and the Family Day Adventure Cruise.

Pandemic Friendly Entertainment is hosting an event where people can take the challenge to do as many as 25 activities to be completed in five hours.

No need to register just download and follow the EGGcellent card as it leads participants to the fun stuff and the chance to win many prizes.

The card will be posted on the Most EGGcellent Cruise Facebook page at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday with all the activities listed to give everyone the same chance.

There are lots of prizes up for grabs including a Nintendo Switch and six children's bikes, a  free night at a local hotel, gift cards to many merchants including Canadian Tire and specifically for UNBC and CNC students prizes like an iPad, $500 credit for CNC, and a snowboard.

The tasks will take participants all over the city, taking photos to post online and picking up free giveaway items. Activities are geared for as many people as possible to participate so there are some destinations you can walk to, take public transit or get to by car.

To be entered to win prizes print or download The EGGcellent Card, mark the card when the task is completed on Saturday. Take pictures and post them with a copy of a fully or partially completed card to Instagram or Facebook before 10 a.m. on April 4 with #pgeggcellentcruise.

College and university students can comment 'I am a student' when using the hashtag so photos will be entered for those specific prizes.

The entertainment group hosting the event is looking for donations towards the event that will help offset the costs of the event. Donations can be made by clicking the following link https://my.charitableimpact.com/.../big-brothers.../gift/new.

In the 'for the charity' section note 'EGGcellent Cruise' so the funds are directed correctly.

Any donations remaining after the event expenses will be evenly distributed among three charity partners including Big Brothers, Big Sisters Northern British Columbia, Ness Lake Bible Camp, and the Prince George Child Development Centre.
