BLAST FROM THE PAST - Fred Doig, who brought lacrosse to Prince George in 1967, was laid to rest Saturday following his death June 11 at age 91. A celebration of Doig's life at Hart Community Centre attracted a group of lacrosse players who played with or against Doig during his career, which spanned eight decades.
