*THE CONTEST HAS NOW CLOSED.*

Each year, hockey teams honour the service of their community's military veterans and first responders.

On Saturday, Nov. 9, the Prince George Cougars will do just that by hosting Heroes Night, the team's next Feature Game on the 2019-20 schedule.

The Cats are set to recognize Prince George residents serving, or who have served, in Canada's military, RCMP, Fire and Rescue and Emergency Health Services, while also taking on B.C. Division-rival Victoria.

There are two pairs (2) of two tickets (2) up for grabs to see the Cougars in action at the CN Centre, which is also the second of a weekend doubleheader against the Royals.

Tell us in the comments below (in this article, NOT in the Facebook comments) who is your hometown hero?
