Samantha Wright Allen covers the city, health and education beats for the Citizen. She grew up in the Lower Mainland, but moved to Ottawa to experience her first Canadian winter. While there, she completed a Masters in Journalism at Carleton University. She’s interned at the Telegraph Journal in Saint John, New Brunswick, the Ottawa Citizen and the Vancouver Courier.
