Peter James
Peter hails from Winnipeg but has criss-crossed the country working as a reporter and editor. After graduating from Carleton University with a degree in journalism, he made stops at the Kenora Daily Miner and News in northern Ontario, the Red Deer Advocate in central Alberta and Postmedia News in Ottawa before moving to Prince George and joining the Citizen in 2012. His career highlights include covering the 2005 world junior hockey championship and the environmental assessment hearings into the proposed Northern Gateway pipeline. Since moving to Prince George, he has volunteered with the Prince George Spruce Kings and the Cariboo Cougars hockey teams.
