The Duchess Park Condors will return to Prince George without a provincial medal.

The top-ranked double-A senior girls' basketball squad was upset by No. 8-ranked Notre Dame 63-61 in a quarterfinal at the B.C. high school senior girls championship in Langley.

Meanwhile, the Cedars Christian Eagles are competing at the single-A girls B.C. championship at Charles Bloom secondary in Lumby this weekend.

The Eagles, the sixth-ranked team, took on 10th-ranked Pemberton in a semifinal Friday night.

Cedars Christian won its first two games, 68-25 against 11th-ranked Credo Christian, and 57-42 against 14th-ranked Nakusp.

The championship final is at 7 p.m. today.
