The Prince George Spruce Kings were probably left wishing their fans back in Prince George decided to tune out the broadcast before it even began after they got shelled 10-4 Friday by the Powell River Kings.

Tristan Mullin led the Powell River cause with three goals and an assist. Cam Donaldson, Kyle Betts and Jonny Evans each had two goals and an assist, while Ben Berard also scored for the home side. Johan Steen and Carter Turnbull picked up three assists.

Bryan Allbee scored his first BCHL goal since joining the Spruce Kings last week from the WHL Seattle Thunderbirds. Chong Hyun Lee, with a goal and two assists, Ben Poisson and Tyler Anderson also scored for Prince George.

Evans scored on a penalty shot 3:23 into the second period to make it a 5-2 game and potted his second of the game 13 seconds later, which spelled the end of the night for Spruce Kings goalie Tavin Grant, who allowed six goals on 23 shots. He was replaced by junior B callup Dawson Rodin and he gave up four more goals on the 23 shots he faced.

Powell River outshot Prince George 46-22.
