The Prince George Cougars kickoff the 2014-15 campaign with five pre-season games beginning Saturday, Aug. 30.
Before then, they'll be in Edmonton as part of a six-team pre-season showcase where they'll first battle the Red Deer Rebels, followed by the Medicine Hat Tigers Aug. 21.
The defending Memorial Cup champions Edmonton Oil Kings visit the Cougars for a pair of back-to-back games Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 at CN Centre. Both games are at 7 p.m.
Prince George wraps up the pre-season Sept. 12 in Kamloops against the host Blazers.
The Cougars regular-season schedule will be released today.
The Cougars open their main camp Aug. 21. The team's veterans report a week earlier on Aug. 14.
