Local software company, Merwin Studios, has started a crowd-funding campaign on Indiegogo.com to raise money for the commercialization of its first product, Chesscube. The money is mostly intended to be used to hire staff locally to finish the program and get it to market. Local University and College students are prospective recruites but a small number of artists and a musician will also be needed. The campaign is set to run for 45 days.
Chess Club Live said this about Chesscube: "This is pretty staggering. Congratulations on producing something of such quality. Capablanca and Fischer were both looking for this when he said chess was finished."
