    Seebach Days at Huble Homestead in Prince George

    Seebach Days at Huble Homestead Historic Site were held May 20 and 21. The ribbon was cut on the new permanent exhibit, Seebach’s Cabin, and guests learned all about Huble’s business partner and the work he did trapping, trading, and traveling. There were demos held both days including blacksmithing and black powder shooting.

    The celebratory Vaisakhi Sikh Festival took place Saturday, May 19, with a parade procession at 10 a.m. from 4298 Davis Road to the CN Centre parking lot where were announcements, displays and food booths including almost 2,000 samosas, pizza, sweets and refreshments from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Everyone was welcome at this free event.

    PGs Got Talent

    PGs Got Talent

    PG's Got Talent was held Saturday, May 5 at 2 and 7 p.m. at the PG Playhouse. This was a performing and fine arts variety show with 22 acts, showcasing many talents, including lyrical dance, classical singers, rappers, belly dancers, pole dancing, opera, cultural dancing, piano and modern-pop.

    Mantracker in Prince George

    Mantracker, Terry Grant, visited Prince George Motors Saturday to pose for photos and sign autographs before giving a talk to about 400 Cadets at hte Connaught Youth Centre. The event was a fundraiser for operating costs at the Connaught Youth Centre. PG Motors sold the tickets to local businesses that in turn donated the tickets to the Cadets.
