I would like to give thanks to the two drivers of a garbage truck in College Heights. I put my garbage out in the morning due to the bears (I keep it locked up in my shed). I heard them coming at the end of the street and I rush out as fast as a disabled person can with a cane. They are at my neighbours place and I am half-way down my driveway.
I am within two steps of being at the curb with the garbage can and my cane.
These two drivers make eye contact, smile, and drive by.
Yes I know I am supposed to have my garbage out, but come on guys have you never been 10 seconds late. It made me feel very useless.
Sometimes a little consideration goes along way, I don't feel they met this criteria.
