I fully share the concern regarding the lack of traffic lights at the intersection of Ferry Avenue and Ospika Boulevard as expressed by Terry Cummins.
Last year I contacted a member of the Prince George city council requesting the help of the city to take action here but nothing was done.
It will only be a matter of time when a serious accident will occur at this extremely busy intersection.
Pedestrians must also cross the four lanes here without a flashing signal light to activate and thus alerting motorists approaching from either direction of travel.
I urge the city to have a very close look at the above raised concerns and not to wait before it will be too late.
