In recent weeks there has been articles about persons dumping illegal items at the Berman Lake transfer station. I have personally seen this on numerous visits to the transfer station.
I do not condone this but on my recent visit. Thursday Aug. 7, I was tempted to leave all my household garbage beside the garbage containers as the two containers were jam packed.
I could accept this if it was a Tuesday after a long weekend, but this was Thursday!
Can someone from the regional district explain this to me and reimburse me the $6 I paid at the Vanway transfer station?
