Ban rednecks from entering Canada

I'm back. In my 65 years, I have only ever written one letter to the editor. That was the day after DJT was elected President of the United Stares of Darkness. Now, about two weeks into the reign of chaos and mayhem, I write again.

I'm back. In my 65 years, I have only ever written one letter to the editor. That was the day after DJT was elected President of the United Stares of Darkness. Now, about two weeks into the reign of chaos and mayhem, I write again.

During the campaign, he promised a total ban on all Muslims entering the United States. Now, he has delivered. Why the outrage in the U.S.? You voted him in. What you saw is what you got.

You are now the America of darkness, fear, hatred, closed doors and rich white people.

Number 45 characterized the pre-Trump era as "American carnage." How do we describe this current spiral into insanity?

He publicly says it isn't a ban on Muslims. It isn't even a ban, he says. But it bans Muslims.

Even those with green cards and visas. They have already been cleared and accepted and certified. Now, they're rejected. Hmm. Very presidential.

I think, very strongly, that Canada should respond in kind.

We have a problem, too. We dislike and fear white supremacists, alt-right militants and KKK psychopaths.

Where do they come from?

The southern states. They wear "wife beater" shirts and tattoos, fly the rebel flag, and throw their empty beer bottles at black children as they drive by in their jacked up primer patched pickup trucks.

To protect ourselves, our children, and the character and soul of our country, we should ban people from Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Ban them. All of them. They're racists and terrorists, and pose a threat to our people and our way of life.

Although, it wouldn't be a ban. It would be a suspension of their access to our borders.

Hopefully permanent.

A side note, it is interesting that the right wing Fox "News" organization in the states, up until the middle of this week, continued to report that the Quebec City terrorist was a Moroccan Muslim, because it fits Number 45's agenda.

The Moroccan Muslim was actually a witness who was helping the wounded when he saw a man with a gun. It was a policeman, but he thought it was the terrorist, so he ran and was arrested.

The alleged shooter is a homegrown right-wing Quebecois who identifies with the xenophobic views and policies of Marine Le Pen and Number 45.

Sad. So sad.
