Two people were killed when struck by a tractor-trailer semi unit near the College of New Caledonia on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the corner of 22nd Avenue and Nicholson Street at 7 a.m., Prince George RCMP said.
A collision reconstructionist from the North District RCMP and the BC Coroners Service have been called to the scene. Roads in the immediate area around the scene will be closed for an extended period of time.
Names of the victims were not released.
