Restaurant robbed at gunpoint

Police are on the lookout for a suspect after a local fast food restaurant was held up Wednesday night. A lone male made off with a small amount of cash from the register at the Subway in the 2300 block of Westwood Drive shortly after 9 p.m.

Police are on the lookout for a suspect after a local fast food restaurant was held up Wednesday night.

A lone male made off with a small amount of cash from the register at the Subway in the 2300 block of Westwood Drive shortly after  9 p.m. after pulling out what appeared to be a handgun.

An RCMP tracking dog found a discarded jacket and black airsoft pellet handgun in a wooded area between Prince George Secondary School and Masich Place stadium but the suspect remains at large.

He is described as likely Caucasian, 15 to 20 years old, with a thin build and wearing black pants, black runners and a black ball cap.
