Construction began on nine single-family homes during July in Prince George and area, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
Although four fewer starts were seen compared to the same month last year, the year-to-date total stood at 62, one more than by the same point in 2013.
There were starts on just two units of multiple-family housing raising the year-to-date total to seven units, well below the 57 units reached by the end of July 2013.
