Councillor Lyn Hall makes it official as he announced today his candidacy for mayor in the upcoming municipal election.
Hall made his announcement on the lawn of City Hall this afternoon in front of a crowd made up of community members, family, city staff and former school board colleagues.
"It's very, very humbling to me and heartwarming to see this kind of support," said Hall, noting people have said his announcement was "the worst-kept secret in Prince George."
