Tickets are on sale now for this year's Dream Home lottery for the Prince George Hospice Society.

A total of 8,999 tickets will be sold at $100 each until Jan. 15, 2015 for the chance to win a 2,754 square-foot custom-built home. The house, built by Fortwood Homes and designed by Lasting Impressions Interior Design, is the largest ever given away by the hospice society and is valued at $480,000.

The Creekside subdivision property features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a bonus family room and kitchen with Paradise Cabinets and Lithium One countertops. A combination of hardwood flooring, tiles and carpeting from Carpet Superstores runs throughout the house, spotlighted by features from McInnis Lighting and Ensuite Bath & Kitchen.

There is also an extra-large double garage, outside basement entrance, alarm system and monitoring by Curtis Elite Security, Optik TV and wireless from Telus and an underground sprinkler system and landscaping work by Suntree Land Design

New to the hospice dream home this year are main floor furnishings and master bedrooms bed and nightstands from RK Furniture Gallery plus a double fridge/freezer, wine fridge, stove and dishwasher from Fortwood Homes and City Furniture.

To view the dream home, visit 7648 Stillwater Cres. between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. or go online to www.hospicedreamhome.ca to see it via web cam.

Early bird draws begin next month, with more than $20,500 worth in prizes to be won, including a 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570 EFI and Polaris ATV trailer from Cycle North Power Sports, a $2,000 Canadian Tire gift card and a 10-day stay at Mar de Pulpi resort in Spain.

Tickets for a 50/50 draw are also available to support the Prince George Hospice Society's biggest fundraising initiative. Proceeds benefit 30 per cent of the beds at Rotary Hospice House, which provides palliative care for guests and grief support.

Those aged 19 and older can purchase tickets at the dream home, at the hospice society office at 1506 Ferry Ave., through the 24-hour ticket hotline at 1-866-419-7604 or online at www.hospicedreamhome.ca.
