A 23-year-old Prince George man faces five charges as a result of an alleged episode of dangerous driving last week.

Kristian Mikael Rahkola has been charged with flight from a peace officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, assaulting a peace officer, willfully resisting a peace officer and driving while impaired.

He was arrested Friday after Prince George RCMP received multiple calls of someone in a pickup truck driving erratically in downtown Prince George.

Rahkola was released from custody Monday on a recognizance with a $2,000 surety and is scheduled to next appear in court in September.
