On Saturday night the sounds of kids laughing, people talking, and rock music filled the air at Canada Games Plaza. Over five-thousand people made their way down for the Thank You PG celebrations. The free barbeque and concert was a way to say thank you and show appreciation to all of the volunteers and residents of Prince George who stepped up in the most impresive way this summer when wildfires forced people from their homes and brought over eleven-thousand evacuees to the city.

Taking the stage and providing entertainment for the evening's festivities were DJ Ant, Barney Bentall, and Juno award-winning rockers Glass Tiger.
