A man has been apprehended following reports of commercial vehicles being shot at along Highway 97.
RCMP said the suspect was arrested Saturday in Chilliwack, after the North District RCMP received numerous calls of a driver "shooting out radiators and windows of semi-tractor trailers while being operated."
The incidents were alleged to have occurred near Houston, Burns Lake, Vanderhoof, Clucuz Lake, Prince George, Quesnel and 100 Mile House and the calls were received between 8 p.m. on Friday and 2:45 a.m. on Saturday.
RCMP subsequently issued images and a description of the suspect vehicle, a blue four-door Dodge Caliber with Ontario licence plate CAVM918.
The suspect's name was not released.
