Registered professional biologist and president of Environmental Dynamics Inc., Bob Redden is now one of the seven new members appointed to the provincial government's small business roundtable.

The roundtable is responsible for identifying key small-business issues and opportunities, providing recommendations to enhance the small-business climate in B.C., and promoting small-business interests in the province.

Environmental Dynamics Inc. (EDI), is a consulting firm that provides environmental management as well as aquatic and terrestrial biological services to all major natural resource sectors across Canada.

Founded in Prince George in 1994, EDI has expanded to five office locations in British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon and now conducts hundreds of projects annually throughout Canada, including in the Arctic.

Recently, Redden assisted with the drafting the B.C. Small Business Accord, and participated in a small group that assisted with the development of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's paper entitled A Path Forward For Entrepreneurship in Canada.

Redden's appointment was announced Friday.
