In the Citizen's last poll, the question was "Should the federal government undertake more public consultation and study before legalizing marijuana in Canada?"

It results seem to be a bit of a joint decision with 37 per cent, for a total of 278 votes, who were being blunt when saying "No, legalize it before more people are unnecessarily slapped with criminal records for possession," and then a close second was "Yes, this is a major change and the government should proceed carefully" with 35 per cent, for a total of 265 votes. Then a distant third with 17 per cent and a total of 130 votes was "No, there has been enough previous public input" and a toke-n amount of readers came in with 11 per cent and 87 votes that said "Yes, best practices in other jurisdictions where it's legal should be considered."

There was a total of 760 votes.

Remember, don't inhale and this is not a scientific poll.

Next up the Citizen poll is asking "Prince William and his wife Kate will be visiting B.C. this fall. No word yet on where they will visit. Would you like to see Prince George visit Prince George?"
