Paving shutting down Tyner Boulevard

Commuters will have to reroute next week when a swath of Tyner Boulevard gets shut down for paving. From Aug. 4-14, Tyner Boulevard between the University Heights subdivision and UNBC will be closed for $600,000 worth of road rehab.

Commuters will have to reroute next week when a swath of Tyner Boulevard gets shut down for paving.

From Aug. 4-14, Tyner Boulevard between the University Heights subdivision and UNBC will be closed for $600,000 worth of road rehab. Access to Tyner Trail won't be affected during construction.

Two more paving projects are also scheduled to begin next week:

Cantle Road between Highway 16 frontage road and Hartman Road will be paved between Aug. 6 and Aug. 14 (estimated cost of $145,00).

Boeing Road between the Old Cariboo Highway and 640 metres west will be worked on between Aug. 5 and Aug. 15 (estimated coast of $175,000).

According to the city, all work is subject to weather conditions and motorists are asked to look for alternate routes where possible.
