A trial before a jury in B.C. Supreme Court in Terrace began Tuesday for a man accused of murdering a former Prince George man.
Travis Leslie Stephens, now 32, faces the count from the Sept. 14, 2013 death of Eric Maurice Cardinal, 27, who was found shot to death in a home in the community 600 kilometres west of Prince George.
A then-29-year-old woman was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound and Stephens also faces a charge of attempted murder.
RCMP have said the incident was drug-related.
