Second degree murder charges have been laid against two people related to a death in Vanderhoof nearly three years ago.
Blaine Albert Barfoot, 29, and Tara Lee Ann Williams, 40, were found dead in a Vanderhoof-area mobile home on Jan. 13, 2013.
Vanderhoof resident Shaun Keith Goodwin, 21, was charged over the weekend as was a 20-year-old man who was 17 at the time of the offence and so cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police have released few details about the case but are asking anyone with information regarding the incident that has not already been reported, to contact the Vanderhoof RCMP at 250-567-2222 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
