Clues to where a missing Prince George woman may be have been found near Ashcroft.

A great dane-mastiff cross owned by Jennifer "Jenny" Lynn Larocque was found on Sunday in the Venables Valley area, south of the community and her vehicle, a dark-blue 2014 Jeep Compass, was located the next day stuck on a rural road, Prince George RCMP said.

Kamloops Search and Rescue volunteers, aided by an RCMP helicopter and a dog and handler, continued a search on Tuesday and Wednesday without success. The search will resume on Friday.

Larocque, 61, was last seen in Williams Lake on Sept. 27.

She is described as Caucasian, 160 cm (5'3") tall and weighing 45 kg (99 lbs) with green eyes and brown hair.

Anyone who may have seen her since then is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 561-3300.
