Local hospice launches new bucket list initiative
There's a new Prince George Hospice Society initiative that encourages local residents to put their bucket list into action.
The society and its partners are asking everyone to get a bit more specific by dividing their bucket list up into high, medium and lowest level dreams.
The new Facebook page called Bucket List Prince George offers weekly prizes drawn from those who post a photo or video of themselves as they tick an item off their bucket list.
In conjunction with the Facebook page is the new fall fundraising event called the Bucket List Fundraiser Gala, which will feature a formal dinner celebration of achieving goals at the Civic Centre on Sept. 22.
Special guest speaker is best selling author Ben Nemtin from MTV's The Buried Life.
Tickets are $85, or tables of 10 for $750 and are on sale today at Central Interior Ticketing or online at www.centralinteriortickets.com.
