The last poll The Citizen posted online asked: Should news media outlets have shown pictures and video from the murder of a TV reporter and cameraman in Virginia? "No, it's unfair to the victims and their families" came in at a resounding 44 per cent

The last poll The Citizen posted online asked: Should news media outlets have shown pictures and video from the murder of a TV reporter and cameraman in Virginia?

"No, it's unfair to the victims and their families" came in at a resounding 44 per cent, with a total of 148 votes. "No, it's a depiction of gratuitous violence" came in at 24 per cent, with 79 votes, while "Yes, the news should be depicted with as much honesty and detail as possible" took 17 per cent for a total of 56 votes and trailing slightly was "Yes, news outlets shouldn't censor the news," which took 15 per cent for a total of 51 votes. There was a grand total of 334 votes.

Remember this is not a scientific poll.
